I live in the Midwest and ski at Bittersweet in Southern Michigan a lot, only because it's the closest. But my favorite place so far is Mt. Bohemia in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I haven't had the funds yet to go out West but from what many people say Bohemia is like a snapshot of what you get out West.

My favorite resort is Big Boulder located in the Poconos, Northeastern PA. Why do I like it? Its a nice park and has everything for everyone. You got your bunny slope, beginner slope, 4 awesome parks for jumps and rails, 2 downhill, 1 kinda downhill with a sharp hook, and a few off trails between and outside the slopes. Almost forgot they even have snow tubing. The lodge is nice to some nights they have bands come in and play some songs and for you older folks a bar to have some drinks. They got races for skiiers, rails jams for both boarders and skiiers, and even hold the Trans Am (Snowboarders only but still cool to check out.) Its also voted number 1 parks on the East Coast of Canada and the U.S. for the past 2 years (2009 and 2010). And if you want to see its sister park Jack Frost another pretty nice resort not many parks but alot for downhill speeders. They are also one of the longest running Resorts in PA and possibly all of the northeast if we have enough snow it may close around April 20th. Than they hold one last even, May Day. Held on the first week of May a one day only event is pretty fun. With jumps and rails. So I hope to see alot of newcomers at this resort. See you out there.

I have 2 favorite resorts:

#1 has to be Elk Mountain in Northeast, Pennsylvania. Like their slogan says, "It's like skiing in Vermont without the drive". Great resort with a variety of slopes and difficulties.

#2 has to be Sno Mountain in Moosic, Pennsylvania because it is my home resort and what i grew up on. Nice terrain parks and variety of slope difficulties. I learned everything here and i go there almost everyday.

Smile Ski Resorts in Chile

Hi! I'm from Chile, where we have great ski resorts in our Cordillera de los Andes. My favorite is Valle Nevado, which has some of the highest quality snow in Chile, because of its location at 3 thousand meters of height, besides of modern hotels and the best services for its visitors. There you will find ski rental, ski school and the biggest skiable surface of Southamerica

Default Alyeska

I lived in Alaska for years and still find Alyeska Resort an all time favorite. Even the drive along Turnagain Arm is an experience and the scenery spectacular. Although base is a few feet above sea level the mountain gets anywhere from 600-1000 inches of snow per season and conditions can vary wildly from base to summit.
