hey people im fairly new at xc skiing and was wondering how often do u need to get skis re waxed

I dont really know. Some do it everytime they go out. Some do it once a month. Depends on the user.

After you ski a few times the bottom of the ski will start to get a white residue depending of the condition of the snow and the amount on each time you can not say exactly how often. But when this white residue shows up it is time. If you plan on racing you will do it before each race. If it is for leisure then the wax makes it easier to move and also protects the bottoms.
