Default The pivot slip turn

Pivot slip turns are one of the most effective drills for enhancing short turns. Short turns are the cornerstone of advanced skiing.
1. With a stable upper body facing down the hill rotate both legs 180 degrees from the left to the right and back again. Continue this for linked turns.

2. Groomed snow allows less resistance and ease in turning the skis

.

3. A pole plant is important to add rhythm and flow down the hill.

Hello admin!
This is a very helpfull post, I might go skiing sometime and this will help because when you're going down a hill you go fast! This will help control balance and remain a slow speed, will help me because when I start I dont want to go really fast. Thanks for the tutorial

Funny but I'm still working on this one. I don't know what it is but I can't seem to get it right.

It's not as hard as it looks, actually I think that it is one of the easiest moves you can do.
