The Wasatch Mountains are full of wide open powder fields as well as tight couloirs and even hardpack. With the Wasatch as the backdrop, the designers at Black Diamond created the new Kilowatt to handle anything those mountains could throw at you.
Starting with a CNC-machined wood core, Black Diamond gave the Kilowatt Ski a torsion box wrap to allow smooth tip-to-tail flex while maintaining torsional rigidity for edge control. Its well thought out dimensions of 126-95-114 give you plenty of flotation for the deepness, while still allowing easy turn initiation in tight places with a 22.5m sidecut. Mount the Kilowatt with telemark or alpine touring bindings, and take them anywhere your heart desires in the backcountry.
