I am just getting skiing after not doing it for a number of years. I have been snowboarding to a fairly high level but want to give skiing a crack again, and I'm wondering what skiis I should look at?

I'm 195lbs, beginner/intermediate (can carve on blue runs) and will spend most of my time on the groomers. I want a good all round ski that will still work great as I progress. I would also prefer something with a twin tip.

Are there any particular skis I should look into, or any partiuclar specs I sould look at? Should I get something on the stiffer or softer side? Does it matter about side cut? I was thinking about the K2 Public Enemies. Are they a decent all round ski?

well first of all, i dont know anyyyything about skis + equipment
but the one thing i do know is that stiff skis are generally better for carving since you'll need to keep an edge
so yeah.
