geauxski is on a distinguished road
Default Kids Skiis

Trying to get my 4 yr old outiftted for the season. He's 40 in and weighs about 40lbs.

Have last pair of season rentals on hold (80cm), found pair on Craig's List (87cm) Boots with online pair may be a little big.
Can't decide if to rent (and hope they still have a pair of boots that fit) or just buy and do the ever sinful layering of socks to try for good fit.

He loved his lessons so much last year, that I don't want him to have a bad experience for his first complete season.

Hoping to get him up at least 12 times (already signed up for 2 sessions of lessons yesterday - he better like it) so I definitely don't want to rent each individual time.

Any opinions?
