Hi there,

I'm from Germany and planning on going for a skiing vacation in North America. I now need to decide between Whistler/Blackomb and Park City/Deer Valley/The Canyons. Prices are about the same. I will need to go on the first week of March. Can you tell me where conditions will be better? Right now Park City doesn't have a whole lot of snow I heard, will that change? Also I wonder whether you can find the Powder Snow at the beginning of March in both resorts? As I basically have no idea about skiing in North America every help you give me is much appreciated!

The weather conditions this year have just been really inconsistent. If it were last year, I would have said that you have chance of snow at both places. But, I would hate to say that this year and be wrong since you re coming from so far away. I have been to both Whistler and Park City and love both resorts. I don't think that you'll be wrong with either choice. I wonder if there are any B.C.'ers on this forum that might have a better recommendation for the conditions this year in Whistler.
