Hi

I am new to the forum (found it via google). I have been reading about the sport a lot via google looking for good ski resorts, and offers.

I have skied indoors but I would like to go on a real skiing trip outdoors. I intend to save up enough money to go on one.

I would like your help and advice on which ski resort to choose.
I don’t know whether to go to one in Europe, or in the US.
Also would you recommend staying in a hotel or in a chalet?

Personally, I've only been to European ski resorts so I wouldn't be able to comment on the American resorts.
