Default Choosing Breck, Vail, Beaver Creek Help

We are from Florida and will be going to Breckenridge Jan 23-30. My wife and I are green to blue skiers. We have twin boys that will be almost 5. They skied last year in Vermont (first time) and did quite well. They did the lifts (with our help) and skied green pretty good.

I am looking for the expert help from the Skiing forum to help with some recommendations. We are getting a 5 of 8 pass that allows us to ski 5 of 8 days -- with two of the days allowing us to go to Vail or Beaver Creek. We are staying in Breckenridge, but don't mind driving to Vail or BC for the 2 days we are allowed to.

So, which mountain is the best for beginner to intermediate skiers??? How about the lines in late Jan during the week??? ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED!!!

Thanks to everyone in advance for the help.

I would venture to say you’re fairly safe at any of these places. There are quite a few beginner runs pretty much anywhere you go...probably just boils down to what kind of terrain you like to ski and outside activities (if you plan on going out around the village).

Although, I am a big fan of Copper mountain (right there on 70 along with Breck & Beaver Creek) which you didn't mention on your list of possible stops. Maybe it's not on the list..but I thought I'd mention it.

Beaver Creek is the right choice, nice terrain for beginner to intermediate.
