Here are some pictures I took of the 3 resorts on Mt. Hood from my plane. It gives you the basic layout of the land and the terrain available at each resort as well as their proximity to each other
Mt. Hood
The cliffs you see are Mississippi Head and the canyon is Big Zig Zag. This is easily accessed back country with epic lines.
Mt. Hood Ski Bowl...largest night skiing area in North America. Rest assured, a night shot of these resorts from the plane is on the "to do list"
Timberline Lodge

White River canyon separating Timberline and Mt. Hood Meadows
Vista Ridge Mt. hood Meadows
Mt. Hood Meadows; HRM "Hood River Meadows" is the large area to the right of the main lodge. This section has amazing tree runs and backcountry.
Heather & Clark Canyons; the crown jewels of Mt. Hood Meadows
Clark Canyon is to the right of Heather Canyon and Newton Canyon is the massive drainage farthest right. This is has some epic backcountry routes, but requires a vehicle parked on HWY 35 and a long hike out.
