My favorite resort is Big Boulder located in the Poconos, Northeastern PA. Why do I like it? Its a nice park and has everything for everyone. You got your bunny slope, beginner slope, 4 awesome parks for jumps and rails, 2 downhill, 1 kinda downhill with a sharp hook, and a few off trails between and outside the slopes. Almost forgot they even have snow tubing. The lodge is nice to some nights they have bands come in and play some songs and for you older folks a bar to have some drinks. They got races for skiiers, rails jams for both boarders and skiiers, and even hold the Trans Am (Snowboarders only but still cool to check out.) Its also voted number 1 parks on the East Coast of Canada and the U.S. for the past 2 years (2009 and 2010). And if you want to see its sister park Jack Frost another pretty nice resort not many parks but alot for downhill speeders. They are also one of the longest running Resorts in PA and possibly all of the northeast if we have enough snow it may close around April 20th. Than they hold one last even, May Day. Held on the first week of May a one day only event is pretty fun. With jumps and rails. So I hope to see alot of newcomers at this resort. See you out there.
