Default Where to Ski

I am going to go skiing this winter and I am not sure which area to go. Should I go to Vail or Utah. I am pretty good, but the rest of my family is not and will need easier hills.

Thanks

I hope you went to Utah. They have the best slopes. Well, not all time best but they do get a lot of powder.

I personally would go to Vail but I am partial to Utah. Wherever you go, there will be beginner slopes close for the family. You will be able to accomodate everyone. Have fun.

Mountains would be a good choice. Just a suggestion, though.

Hard to say. It depends on your budget and your own particular tastes and wants

Thats right, everything is based on what you want to do. Not everyone is capable of going to the most expensive resort. There are some nice cheap places you can go to get your skiing on, you just have to research them.

I think mountains are only good if you are a good skier because those are very dangerous. I know that I'm not a great skier so I wouldn't ski on a set of mountains.

Try Whistler, fantastic place to ski. We went last year, rented a SUV Limousine to get us there. Was a hoot, bars are full of girls and parties everywhere. Try this company for transportation Classic Limousine

Wow--that's like picking whether to eat a filet mignon or strip Sirloin. I have skied at both, but not recently. Depends on where you plan to go in Utah. Deer Valley and Park City have runs similar to Vail's; Alta and Snowbird have more variety for advanced/expert skiers/riders, but there is enough for lower level riders/sliders.
I think the weather is more reliable at Vail. You very rarely lose a ski day because of too much snow or wind or avalanche danger. Ditto for Park city and Deer Valley. On the other hand you can get stuck in your lodge at Alta and Snowbird during their big dumps which occur more frequently than at the others.
Apres ski choice goes to Vail.
