Hello from NW, Indiana
Hi Everyone,
I'm John Forrest, 22 years old, from North West, Indiana, Valparaiso to be exact. My favorite sports team is the Cubs. Right now I am a student at Purdue North Central, it's a Purdue extension close to my town. I'm studying for a Bachelors degree in Business Management that I should be getting in about a year and a half. Once I graduate I'm planning on becoming a Police Officer unless God takes my life elsewhere. When I'm not in school I am either working with a lawn care company mowing lawns or removing snow, skiing, hunting, or target shooting. Thats about it for me.
This looks to be a great forum and I'm excited to learn and share knowledge with everyone here.
John

Thanks for the welcome! I see your another Volkl fan? Just picked up a pair of AC50's last Wednesday and tried them out at Bittersweet over in Southern Michigan. They put my old Solomon teneighties to complete and udder shame.

They are 170cm long 128/85/112. They have the Marker iPT wideride binding system. I'm 5'10" 165lbs. These things are a dream to ski on. Initially, I wasn't sure how they would perform carving and switching edge to edge, they love both those things. They carving on the groomers, I haven't been able to try them in powder but they blast through crud like its a freshly groomed run. My favorite part about them has to be their speed, these things blast off! Get some good carving going and they ramp up the speed like a rocket, while staying completely planted as well. Honestly I don't have any complaints about them, but I only have 1 day on them. I can't wait to go out again and keep experimenting with their limit (if they have one)!

I was in Evansville for 2 years 07 and 08, went to USI. I wasn't a big fan of the city, I'm sure most of that is because I'm a country boy and all the people around me, and no land of my own, bugged me to death. The traffic didn't help either. Not the volume but the slow drivers on the Lloyd expressway (if I remember correctly), I understand safe driving but 5 to 10 mph under isn't safe. Other than that it was great, my favorite place to go was the Garden of the God's over in Illinois, that place is just specular!
