Mount Hotham Skiing Company is looking for a
Snowmaking Supervisor for the 2008 winter season.
Mount Hotham is a dynamic environment with a huge array of staff
all contributing to make the winter season a success for
both guests and staff alike. Mount Hotham Skiing
Company has a state of the art automated snow system
which is being expanded for the 2008 snow season.
MHSC are seeking a dynamic person to fill the role of
snowmaking supervisor for the coming season. Previous
experience in snowmaking or other ski area experience (i.e.
lift operations) is preferable. A trade background or similar
would be an advantage. The applicant must be prepared
for night work, manual labour and adverse weather
conditions. You will need to be enthusiastic, highly
motivated and a team player. The right person is likely to be
offered this position full time with the organisation.
Duties involve the supervision of 9 winter staff and the operation
of the snowmaking systems at Mount Hotham. The
position reports to the Snowmaking Manager and
General Manager – Operations.
