How did you get into skiing? Was it your friends or family who went out to ski. I know I had friends on the ski club back in high school.

Since I was about 6 years old my family took me on a ski holiday ever winter to Austria and Switzerland. Once I started going to high school in Switzerland, I had the change to ski nearly every day in the winter season.

On my birthday I went on a Skiing holiday. I guess thats when I really started getting into Skiing.

Living near some great slopes in the Poconoes tends to make
those in the area want to learn how to ski.

In my town we have a ski club where they take kids up to the local ski mountain and let us all ski or snowboard for 4 hours then takes us all home. But they stop the program when you reach high school. But I think I've been skiing since I was 5 (even though I'm not that good now but I can handle myself) because my family (especially my dad) was big into skiing.

My sister who is into sky diving got me to give it a try with her.

When I was younger my older brothers would always go and one day they took me with them. It was hard and scary at first, but I had so much fun I just had to keep going back. Now I hope to take my kids this year.
