GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (Jan. 1) - Austrian Gregor Schlierenzauer jumped 141 meters - the longest jump of the competition - on the final round Tuesday to win the second event of the 56th Four Hills Tournee. He overtook first-round leader Janne Ahonen of Finland for the win with 274.4 points; Ahonen had 272.7 points on jumps of 139 and 135 meters. No Americans competed.

BISCHOFSHOFEN, Austria (Jan. 5) - Finland's Janne Ahonen won the third stop of the 56th Four Hills Tournee Saturday, making it the 32nd win of his ski jumping career. He also took over first place in the tournee points competition with one meet left. He had jumps of 139.5 and 138 meters, good for 282.5 points, more than 11 points ahead of Austrian Thomas Morgenstern, the World Cup leader. No U.S. skiers competed in the event, moved from Innsbruck a day earlier because of high winds. The tournee ends Sunday night, also in Bischofshofen.

BISCHOFSHOFEN, Austria (Jan. 6) - Finnish ski jumping great Janne Ahonen won the final event of the 56th Four Hills Tournee Sunday night to clinch his record fifth overall tournament championship. His jumps of 126 and 136 meters in 40-degree weather were worth 251.6 points, out-scoring Norway's Anders Bardal, the first-round leader who went only 124.5 meters on his last jump, finishing with 243.6 points. No Americans competed.
