13-Year-Old Sweeps 'Blairfoot' Titles
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Thirteen-year-old Seth Frase proved to be unstoppable at the 20th annual “Blairfoot Bananza” World Barefoot Water Ski Endurance Championships, Oct. 13-14, on Lake Silver. The event, founded by "Banana" George Blair, included the endurance championships and a head-to-head figure-8 event, with the combined highest-scoring barefooter being crowned "World Endurance & Figure 8 Barefoot Champion."
Frase won every event and out-dueled world barefoot champion Keith St. Onge in the process.
