Lower mainland BC, Whistler, Manning Park, Baker WA ?

By light bc touring I mean off piste with wider metal edged nordic gear (e.g. 99-109mm wide at shovel, 3-pin cable bindings) no steep climbs (no skins - pattern based) or descents - just long rolling open or in trees type skiing.

Just looking for routes that aren't too far away from Vancouver area. I have a place in the kootenies where it is easier to find this stuff but locally I have no real idea.
