Default Music control ski gloves

Hi guys,

So to start, I'm not a skier (for some reason I've been nervous to try), but I am a sportbike (motorcycle) rider. Makes ZERO sense, I'm sure .

Anyway, I'm looking for insight from skiers about gloves I originally invented for motorcycling and thought they would be GREAT for skiers as well. I've launched an IndieGoGo campaign around them and hope will take a look.

These are BEARTek gloves. They allow the operator to control his music and calls, while leaving his phone in his pocket (of course this could all be 'her' vs 'his').

If nothing else, I'd love some feedback on what you would like to see in our lineup.

Crowd-financing campaign on Indiegogo

So thanks skiers. For those who might find these useful, I'm trying to spread the word as well.

Happiest wishes,
Willie

Will the ski ones have that pack on the back of it. I think the key with the ski gloves is to have minimal things coming off them.

How does it work with answering the phone? I assume you need to have a iTalk headset. (headphones with a mic on them)

Hi Joe,

Yes, the gloves have the pack on the back (to house the electronics and allow removeability and waterproofing). To answer the phone, there would be the thumb touching a finger while the phone is ringing. A headset with mic is definitely required for the audio to work.

Ok cool, i like the idea of touching the thumb and finger together to answer the call.

I suppose a big question is how much would they cost?

Default ski gloves

ski gloves can be found in two types the short length and the gauntlet gloves. The short gloves reach the end of the wrist while the gaunet is longer to keep the snow and water from reaching the hands.Ski Gloves

Great idea
I do a little Android development on the side and the issue with wireless remotes is the drain power from the devices.
my favorite remote for skiing use to be the wired remote for the iPod 3G which you cant find anymore. The new ones from China suck the battery down in 4 hours.
Your design is very cool and hope to see it on the trail this season.

I really like the idea and would love to have one. However, I wonder how tough the gloves are - what if I fell from my bike and accidentally landed on the gloves?

Monster iEZclick

Monster Cable iEZClick Wireless Remote for Apple iPod | eBay

I use it for skiing and has always worked, even in -25c temperatures.

How much will this cost to the buyer though? Good luck on indiegogo.
