I ski and snowboard. I love to ski and go fast, but love the feeling of riding pow when snowboarding. I was brought up on skiing and it will always be my choice. I think this is the case with most as its what you earn first and depending on how in to snowboarding you are will affect whether you learn it or not. Snowboarding was never something i really wanted to do a i loved skiing and going fast and when i was younger on holidays i didnt want to spend my whole wek learning and hurting myself. I picked up snowboarding when i was away for a season as some friends taught me and i love it for riding pow but im still a shoester at heart.

I've done skiing for a lifetime. I started when I was very young, It is part of my life now. I like snowboarding, but I cannot stop skiing, and I don't think there's something else I could enjoy more.

Simply because i love skiing. It's easier than snowboarding and less injuries compared to snowboarding.

I've never tried snowboarding but from the looks of it, it looks a lot like skateboarding which I happen to dislike since I got a lot of injuries from just trying skateboarding once. I don't think I will risk it.

Skiing, on the other hand, seems less extreme. Plus, the ski poles help a lot

Snowboarding is a sport that involves riding on a board that is attached to the rider’s feet by means of a pair of Snowboard Bindings connected to the Snowboard Boots, and sliding down a slope covered with snow. And the technique for skiing allows you to pick up bits and pieces each time you head out, and so you will be skiing even on the first day, albeit not in a terrific way.

The main difference that one can see between skiing and snowboarding is in the equipment used. While in snowboarding only a solid, single, wide board is used, two boards are used in skiing.

Skiing and snowboarding are alike in that they are both downhill and are both the source of countless hours of fun and exhilaration Some of the differences, however, that you'll find between them include:

Snowboard riders constantly have to sit or exert energy to remain on edge while they are stationary. Unlike skiing, you will not have poles to help you remain upright and standing when you are not moving.
Snowboarding is a lot easier on the knees compared to skiing. Knee injuries are not as common in snowboarding as they are in skiing. Snowboarding can, however, be a lot more brutal on your wrists so make sure you wear some wrist guards.

You'll start to develop a deep hatred for flats when you're starting out with the snowboard. Again, you won't have your ski poles to bail you out.
You will, however, begin to fall in love with deeper and softer snow. Snowboards work nicely in powder and crud while skis are better in bumps and ice.
Getting up after a fall on a snowboard is a skill in itself but once mastered should prove to be easier and faster than having to put your stuff together again after falling on skis.

And of course making this hobby would not be complete without having an awesome place to set in.And I would suggest Vacation Quest is one of the best. Been in this place and I'd love to experience it again and again. The place is very suitable whether it is for snowboarding or skiing. Try this place guys and you re going to love this place.
