Default keeping Warm on The Chairlift

I was skiing up at my local Mountain (Grouse Mountain North Van)and I always get pretty cold going up the chairlift so my buddy gave me these little hand warmers that activate instantly. I thought they were cool, they start as a liquid then go hot by bending a metal disc in them. If you get cold this can solve your problem it did for me. The compnay is called 3secondheat

Yea those things are nice, I have never used one skiing, just for headaches and muscle cramps, but my mom has something like it. The one we have has to be boiled before you can activate it again. Does this one work the same way?
