I'm really new to skiing and I wanted to learn this skiing season. How would I pick a good ski instructor? I don't want to pick someone that don't know what they are doing.

I think it is best to see how much experience the instructor has and how many people he has trained. This will provide decent insight into his or her background

im a ski instructor. my boss only gives me the little ones and the seniors. i dont really know why he does this

Maybe he is just pawning off the more difficult students to you? Or maybe he thinks you can handle more complicated students

It may also be wise to run the name of the instructor through google and see what positives and negatives come up

You can't do that with every instructor you run into because they aren't all going to be listed.
