Alpine ski racer suffers head injuries
A member of the United States Ski Team was seriously injured Wednesday night while sliding down an escalator located inside the Main Street Mall in Park City.
According a press release from the United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA), Cody Marshall, age 26, suffered a head injury in an accidental fall and is hospitalized in Salt Lake City. As of noon Thursday, Marshall was listed in critical condition at University Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
Marshall is originally from Pittsfield,Vermont and is in his third year with the U.S. Ski Team.
