Long-standing plans to create a new route in to Madonna di Campiglio’s giant ski area are scheduled to reach fruition this winter.

A new lift at Daolasa to add to the already massive ski area
A new eight passenger gondola will open in December, lifting skiers are boarders from the floor of the Val di Sole, at Daolasa near Commezzadura, up to Bassetta del Vigo.

The new gondola will connect with a double chair and a new ski lift for ski schools. These will connect with the existing chairlift 58 on the circuit that runs between the ski areas of Folgarida and Marilleva.

I would really enjoy an opportunity to visit Italy for skiing one of these days. It looks like an incredibly great vacation resort.

Has anyone been there? I was thinking about planning a trip there but I have no idea how the prices look and or how the experience is there.
