With a consolidated effort by a cohesive group of ski loving parents and kids from Manchester and Essex, the foundations of a new alpine ski racing team are beginning to take root at Manchester Essex Regional High School.
As is probably most obvious during winter, many local vehicles can be seen with a Thule or Yakima box or ski rack atop their vehicles’ roof when heading to ski destinations north of the Massachusetts border. Our residents come from a long lineage of ski families with an inherent love for skiing, and many of them and their children have raced for their home mountain in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
