Gregorak Fourth in JWC SG
The U.S. Ski Team's Wiley Maple (Aspen, CO) kicked off Wednesday's 2009 Alpine Junior World Championship competitions right for the U.S., finishing sixth in the men's downhill.
Italians swept the first and second place podium spots with Andy Plank in first and Dominik Paris in second. Finland's Andreas Romar was third.
The racing continued Wednesday with the men's super G where Will Gregorak (Longmont, CO) finishing just .29 seconds away from the podium in fourth. Gregorak led as teammate Tommy Ford (Bend, OR) finished eighth.
