Many of the recent developments in skiing have been associated with ski and binding technology but this winter Atomic launches a new breed of ski boots. This new boot, the Hawx, has taken 6 years to develop and it uses I-flex technology to flex under the ball of the foot ensuring a much more direct transmission of power to the edges of the ski. The boot has a more upright stance, putting less pressure on the knees and lower back and using the boot with an integrated ski and binding system will give the maximum amount of feeling through to the snow making the skier feel “at one” with their equipment.
To prove how good these new boots really are Atomic are offering a preseason opportunity to test this new technology. "Our new Hawx ski boots are the first boots designed around the natural movements of the foot" says Jason Summerfield, Atomic UK Manager. "This revolutionary technology has to be skied to be believed which is why we want to offer this trip to the UK skiing public."
The picturesque Alpine resort of Tignes plays host to the first ever Atomic preseason “Boot Camp” providing a great opportunity for keen skiers wanting to test equipment before buying, including the 07/08 season Hawx boot.
