Heavy snow and high winds over the last two days forced the competition jury to cancel the nations team event scheduled for Wednesday at the 2009 FIS World Ski Championships. The unanimous jury decision was made at 7 a.m. local time.

The race will not be re-scheduled, allowing organizers to focus on course preparation for the four remaining medal events, which begin Thursday with women's giant slalom.
