Defending overall World Cup champion Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO) skied the second fastest final run of giant slalom in Maribor Saturday to finish seventh, her second best result in the discipline this season. Slovenia's Tina Maze won the race, taking her first giant slalom victory since 2005.
