Reigning World Cup giant slalom champion Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) produced a solid second run Saturday to finish ninth in a World Cup giant slalom in Adelboden. Ligety's finals run time was the second fastest of the day, but not enough to hold Austrian Benni Raich from claiming his third victory on the classic Swiss slope to regain the overall World Cup points lead.
