I would like to learn a simple, basic jump although honestly I may end up taking a long time to be able to learn it

You don't know how to do a simple jump? I don't think it will actually take as long as you think it will because basic jumping can be done without skis.

No, I would not consider myself all that really talented when it comes to skiing or snowboarding

I don't either but I actually took a trip with a friend of mine nad I just got on some skis just because I seen her do it and I forced myself to attempt a jump and I did it, with no training or help. I didn't do it anytime after that though,lol. I guess it was luck.
