Kelley Wins NorAm Slalom
Tim Kelley (Starksboro, VT) took the lead for the U.S. men along with the NorAm title Wednesday at the men’s slalom in Loveland. Kelley led over Marc Gini of Switzerland in second and Julian Cousineou of Austria in third.
“We had another great day,” men’s coach Tom Sell said.
Even with the eight inches of new snow the men’s team managed to pull out the results.
Other U.S. top finishers included Paul McDonald (Bellevue, WA) finishing sixth and Will Brandenburg (Dakota Dunes, SD) staying in the top ten with eighth (1:33.89).
“That was great for those guys,” said Sell.
The men continue their NorAms Thursday and Friday in Winter Park, CO for two more days of slalom.
