Ludlow puts away her skis
Libby Ludlow, a 2006 US Olympic Alpine ski team member, announced here retirement here Tuesday, ending a 10-year career.
Ludlow won the 2004 US giant slalom crown and was also a member of the US world championships team in 2003 and 2007.
"The fact that I am healthy right now and can walk away from the sport healthy, happy and satisfied with what I've accomplished is what I've always wanted. It feels good," Ludlow said.
"It was clear that now is my time to walk away."
