First, sorry for bad english, but hope you can understand me anyway.
I have just finished a little project, and maybe it have of some interest for you. I have made it as a downhill snowbike.
So I took and old bike, and maked a ”rebuild” to fit my purpose, and made this totally lowprice project.
So it have a doble fork in the front, with suspension on the front fork to take the biggest bumbs and stof like that, and build the rest of the frame so strong as posible. Then I mounted a rearbrake, to be abbel to slow down the speed if It will go to fast.
Last I have mounted a 110 db car horn in the front, so I can make a warning for people in front of me.
But the reason why I write, other that you maybe will find it interesting, is that in Denmark there is no mounts and there is pretty flat here, so I have no experiens with downhill driving on skies, only a little slalom from Norway. But have made some downhill, just on MTB. But don’t know how it works out on skies.
So do you experienced downhill skiers, think this project is complete madness, or do you think it will might be working out and have a chance. Are going to Sweden i January, and it takes some space to have this with me. Would like to have an expert oppinion before it will go with me.
