An Amazing Season So Far!

It has been an amazing season so far. I had more days on the hill by Christmas then I think I got in the past two season combined.

I have to say it has been wild here in PA though. We have had snow, ice, wind, rain and yes, a few sunny days too. On race day two weeks ago it was 18 degrees below zero!

Getting Back Into The Groove

I think it takes everyone a few runs to get back into the groove of things. My little 6 year old was terribly frustrated last weekend because she didn’t feel like she had her legs under her. When she took a jump, fell and zoomed into the trees she wasn’t seriously hurt but she was angry and frustrated. She started to question the skills she thought she’d remembered from previous season as if she’d just made that all up in her head.

Snow Deva

Deva - not Diva. It means angel in Sanskrit and it is part of one of my earliest memories. I fell in love with winter when I was 4 years old living outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
