My romantic plans for skiing and huskie dog sledding in Riksgransen, Sweden (arctic circle)from the 13th - 19th May have evaporated today - no accomodation available at all. Does anyone know where you can definitely ski in europe at this time? Things are getting desperate so I may decide to include US/canada in the criteria even though we're only going for a week (from UK). I'm looking for somewhere that is unusual/picturesque/quirky for me and the girlfriend. Needs to have more than just 2 ski lifts to keep us occupied for the week as we're both experienced skiers.
