Its about 10 hours from Valpo, straight up 94 through Chicago, Milwaukee, then jump on 43 through Green Bay, 141 and finally 41. A long drive, but once you get there and ski it, its worth every second. You really need to have All-Mountain skis or wider to really enjoy the place, anything else is too much work. They have pretty good rentals there though so no need to worry if all you have is carving skis.
