One of the good parts about the eastern townships in Quebec is that there are fewer skiiers than if you went to the mountains north of the St. Lawerence river (closer to Quebec city) Especially if you go during the week. Infact there is a ski area that goes by the name of "massif du sud" which is only open on the weekends, so there is usually tons of untracked powder skiing.
