Hoffman Leads U.S. in 10K
Noah Hoffman (Ketchum, ID) was 12th Monday in a men's 10K race at the 2008 FIS Nordic Junior World Championships. Norwegian Hans Christer Holund won the men's race, followed by Canadian Alex Harvey and Tim Tscharnke of Germany in third.
The U.S. Ski Team's Rosie Brennan (Park City, UT) finished 18th and was followed closely by fellow Dartmouth student Ida Sargent (Orleans, VT) in 20th. Norwegians Therese Johaug and Ingvild Flugstad Oestberg went one-two while Germany's Lucia Anger rounded out the women's podium with third.
The cross country Junior World Championships continue Wednesday with a men's 20K and a women's 10K mass start.
